Priest

The priest attacks by draining life. Every one of your ten actions heals someone: Drain, Siphon and Leech hurt a creature and heal you, or whoever you have chosen: the drain flies to the creature and hurts it as it arrives, then what it drew out flies on and heals as it reaches them. Drain, your main attack, comes round as fast as your staff swings, every 2.4 s with the Leechwood Staff. Mend is a heal and nothing else. Renewal is your party buff: it heals your party within reach at once, and keeps healing them for a while after. Blight is a drain that silences what it hits, so it cannot cast or shoot; it is your PvP action. A heal on someone out of reach or out of sight is refused, with nothing spent; a drain still lands, and its healing comes to you instead. A drain is a spell, so it can be missed though never dodged, parried or blocked, and a drain that misses heals nothing.

You start knowing Drain and Mend; the rest are learned on your skill tree (N), one skill point every 2 levels. Sic 'em follows Drain on the tree, and Beckon follows Sic 'em. Your hound is with you from the start and fights what you hit before you have learned either.

Wither is a drain over an area: everything within 8 m of the target bleeds, and the healing goes where you choose. Soul Snare stuns one foe for 2 s as it drains it. Hurricane is wind round yourself: every creature within 8 m of you is spun out along a spiral to 14 m away, and does nothing while it spins. Communion is your cooldown: it heals, and your own pools refill twice as fast for 15 s.

You have a pet, a hound that tanks while you level. Dismiss pet, the last button on its bar beside Sic 'em and Beckon, sends it away, as hurt as it is, and Call pet brings it back; until then it does not come back when you wake or log in, and Beckon calls it too. Its bites draw 10× the threat, and a bite on anything fighting you pulls it off you. Its two commands sit on a pet bar under its frame, not on your hotbar. Sic 'em sends an idle pet at your target, or calls a fighting one back to heel, and is off the global cooldown, so it can be pressed between any two casts. Beckon brings it back if it has fallen, or mends it to full, and is never refused for its heal: with the one you have chosen out of reach, the heal comes to you instead. You can heal the pet like any ally, and hirelings too, yours or your party's.

Instead of party frames, the priest gets the heal ring: you in the middle, your party, pets and hirelings around you. Each segment shows someone's health, and greys out when a heal would not reach them. Left-click someone to make them your heal target, right-click to Mend them, Shift-left-click to Drain into them and Shift-right-click to Leech into them. Hover over someone and your hotbar heals go to them instead. What each click does can be changed under Key bindings.
